INFO
Cover and spread illustration for Scientific American’s March 2022 special issue: How COVID Changed the World. Full issue here.

Unfortunately, in 2023 COVID is still a major issue due to a number of factors like virus mutations, vaccine efficacy waning over time, dismantling of public health measures, and Long COVID (which can affect anyone and currently has no treatment nor cure). A couple of resources: the PCDC Weather Report (unaffiliated) and the "Swiss Cheese Method" of defense (use KN-95 or N95 masks or better). This statement is my own and may not reflect the views of my clients, including SciAm.
