INFO
A collection of wearable sculptures inspired by science. Available for purchase now on Shapeways.

✦ Wave-Particle Duality / Double-Slit Rings & Pendant
✦ A Candle in the Dark: Lantern Pendants / Earrings

Created with ZBrush & C4D, these are part sculpture and part generative art. The collection took over a year (on and off) to complete, including a lot of R&D to make sure that, beyond just printing and casting well, these designs would be functional, comfortable, and wearable multiple ways.

The pendant and rings feature a particle and wave diffraction pattern separated by a double-slit screen — inspired by the famous physics experiment. The lanterns are simply a nod to Carl Sagan's 1995 book, The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark, and the idiom: "It's better to light a single candle than curse the darkness".
